Welcome friends, family and guests of the Order of Bards Ovates and Druids to our community website.
During these Special OBOD camps we explore Nature's secrets, attend great workshops, celebrate with ceremony, play live acoustic music & dance.
Join us as we gather together to celebrate sacred times that mark the turning of the seasons. Come and experience a sense of real community in these challenging times.
Experience what we can create together, in a safe and sacred space where we can learn to live in harmony with each other, with the land and with the life that surrounds us - living, sleeping and eating together as a temporary tribal community.
We share laughter and joy, tears and frustrations, love and creativity with friends old and new. Experience special moments of joy as well as stillness and silence.
Some aspects of camp include: Learning bush-craft skills. Creating and taking part in Earth Blessing ceremonies. Taking a journey of Soul Discovery. Above all, camps invite you to explore new ways of interacting with Nature and learning new skills. We also offer initiations such as coming-of-age, handfastings, coming into eldership, and more.
We have community yurts, a kids space, a well-being area, a kitchen and dining area, and even a shower sauna caravan.
Coming to camp for the first time may seem a bit daunting, but we shall do our best to welcome you. During your stay you are under no pressure to attend workshops or ceremonies. So when you are ready and want to join in, just trust the process!
We invite you to come and experience our camps, but please note that they are only open to OBOD members, their family and friends. These are not public camps.
